Waltzingmouse Stamps July Blog Waltz


 
Every Month Waltzingmouse Stamps hosts a blog waltz.  This month's theme is Birthday!  This is my "go to" card for birthdays.  It is quick and easy.  The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from Waltzingmouse's Say It With Style collection. It's a bit hard to see in this photo, as it is stamped in yellow.  The bear is from Create a Critter, with an adorable Peachy Keen face.  The balloons are an old Quick Kutz die cut I keep in my stash.  I added flock to the bear's belly, as I made this card for a six year old.

    Funny you consider this style to be your "go to" birthday card and mine is sort of similar. I have a balloon stamp from Stampin' Up and when I need a card in a hurry I stamp several different colors of balloons on the card, draw in the strings by hand and then I use a Happy Birthday stamp. I need a bigger Happy Birthday stamp so I am open to suggestions. Your card above would go great with those googly eyes, the kind that were on the "puffy" stickers from when we were kids.
